Merry Christmas & Happy New Year
In 2025, the International Journal of Engineering (IJE) received 1,550 manuscript submissions, all of which were processed through our editorial system. Of these, approximately 6% remain under active evaluation.
We successfully published 239 high-quality research articles authored by scholars from across the globe, representing an overall acceptance rate of approximately 15%. To maintain our rigorous publication standards, we must carefully manage the volume of accepted papers, even as we recognize the strong desire of authors to succeed in our review process.
A significant milestone was achieved in 2025: IJE earned a Q1 ranking in the Web of Science. We are optimistic that this will be reflected in a strong impact factor in the coming period.
None of this would have been possible without the dedicated efforts of our authors, editorial board members, and our international reviewers. Their scholarly support and rigorous peer review have been fundamental to enhancing the quality of our publications and achieving this ranking.
To sustain and build upon this success, we kindly encourage the global research community to cite IJE articles in their future work, whether submitted to IJE or to other international journals. Continued support through citation is vital for our ongoing growth and impact, as knowledge itself recognizes no borders.
We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who contributed to IJE’s progress and look forward to your continued partnership.
Best regards,
Prof. Ghasem Najafpour-Darzi
