International Journal of Engineering

Aims and Scope

The International Journal of Engineering (IJE) is a comprehensive platform consisting of three distinct journals, each dedicated to a specialized domain of engineering research. It aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge among the global scientific and technological community, including Iranian scientists and engineers. The journal is designed to be of value to researchers and professionals in academic, industrial, and governmental sectors, welcoming original research contributions of significant importance in all engineering disciplines.

The International Journal of Engineering is published in three separate transactions, each with a unique focus:

International Journal of Engineering – Transactions A: Basics (ISSN: 1728-1431, E-ISSN: 17359244)

This journal focuses on engineering fundamentals, including theoretical advancements, principles, and foundational research across various engineering fields.

International Journal of Engineering – Transactions B: Applications (ISSN: 1728-144X, E-ISSN: 1735-9244)

This journal is dedicated to the application of engineering knowledge in real-world scenarios, addressing practical implementations and innovations that enhance human life.

International Journal of Engineering – Transactions C: Aspects (ISSN: 2423-7167, E-ISSN: 17359244)

Launched in January 2012, this journal emphasizes key engineering aspects that contribute to interdisciplinary knowledge, fostering expertise that benefits all branches of engineering.

Each of these journals publishes authoritative papers on theoretical and experimental research, as well as advanced applications based on extensive field, laboratory, and theoretical investigations. Additionally, the journals may feature research notes, technical notes, state-of the-art surveys, short communications, letters to the editor, meeting schedules, and conference announcements. The language of publication is English. Each paper should include an abstract in both English and Persian. For authors unfamiliar with Persian, the publisher will provide translation services. Abstracts should not exceed 250 words. The graphical abstract is recommended.

All manuscripts will be initially checked for plagiarism and then peer-reviewed by qualified reviewers. The material should be presented clearly and concisely.

  • Full papers must be based on completed original works of significant novelty.

 Special Attention:

*** IJE's board of reviewers, who has significant number of papers reviewed in a period of one year, and also all editorial board members publishing their research papers as author, there would be special DISCOUNT on extra page charges as they contributed IJE's review process.

  • Research notes are considered as short items that include theoretical or experimental results of immediate current interest.
  • Technical notes are also considered as short items of enough technical acceptability with more rapid publication appeal.

The length of a research or technical note is recommended not to exceed 3500 words or 6-8 journal pages (including figures and tables).

  • Review papers are only considered from highly qualified well-known authors generally assigned by the editorial board or editor-in-chief. Author of review papers should have high qualifications with distinct developed research area; an outstanding scholar with extensive publications.
  • Short communications and letters to the editor should contain a text of about 2000 words and whatever figures and tables that may be required to support the text. They include discussion of full papers and short items and should contribute to the original article by providing confirmation or additional interpretation. Discussion of papers will be referred to author(s) for reply and will concurrently be published with reply of author(s).
