However, low operation life of the down hole drilling motors and high rate of wear in their working elements may constrain their application due to technical and economical disadvantageousness. In this work, a high-torque modular motor is designed and used. Results of the theoretical and experimental investigations show that the developed down hole motor is characterized by lower torsional vibrations, improved operation stability and restored energy characteristics of the gerotor machine.
