The calculation of the differential equations is performed using SIMPLE algorithm. For the turbulent quantities standard K-model is used. Predicted mean velocity profiles and reattachment lengths comply with the experimental data but significant deviation occurs in the predictions of turbulent intensities. The predicted heat transfer coefficient is in good agreement up to the reattachment point and downstream of that point it matches qualitatively.
